Visual Outcomes System Requirements

General Information:
Your system must be able to act as a ‘network file share’ and be able to run Microsoft server MSQL 2000 and up. Any other computer that runs VO (PC or Laptop) and does not have the data base is known as a client computer on your network. It must have the ability to read write to the server network file share and have the ability to connect to the database; all computers must have the .net framework installed (4). Windows operating system to be maintained including all updates by your IT advisor/network administrator e.g service packs
A secure network for your practice system is required; speak with your IT advisor/network administrator to ensure that you are running an internally and externally secured network (wireless/VPN/over the internet).

a. Smaller Practice - 2 users - (one location)

For a smaller -2 users /single location practice, it's not necessary to have a dedicated server for Visual Outcomes. If you intend to expand within the next 2 years consider a Server however.
